Julep December Box "Classic with a Twist"

This month I switched to "Classic with a Twist" for the Julep box.
  • Sweep Eyeshadow Palette: Neutrals
  • Jillian: "Deep eggplant with bronze molten"
  • Mia: "Greenish silver metallic"
  • Two twist bands

I didn't really see any green in it.

The eyeshadow palette is a good value based on what I paid ($20 for the whole box). Here's the picture of me after using it:


All in all, I'm pleased with December's box!

Ulta Totes For Beauty

I got this Ulta "Totes for Beauty" for $16.99 on Black Friday.



So far all I've tried is the lip gloss/lip stick "Cappuccino". It was actually awesome!

I love that this is a bag that I can put other make-up in and it comes with loads of colors. This is going to be my emergency at work stash for when I get called to a meeting but haven't had time to put anything on my face ;)

Here's what was in my Ipsy bag this month:

  • Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in "Big Apple"
  • Nyx eye shadow in "Pure Gold"
  • Starlooks Kohl Eye Pencil in "Obsidian"
  • It's so BIG! volumizing mascara
  • Freeman Feeling Beautiful facial masques
    • Facial brightening
    • Facial purifying
    • Facial hydrating

The lip balm isn't really my color and y'all know what happened the last time I tried one of these face mask things. I likely won't try these. That means they'll go into a nice big pot for a giveaway (if my beauty bag buddies don't claim them first).

I've liked everything I've had from Nyx so far so I suspect I'll adore the gold shadow.

That only leaves the mascara and eye pencil...I suspect it'll take me a few weeks before I get the chance to try them. So, as always, if they're super awesome, I'll do a post devoted to them.

Despite these notes, I'm pleased with this month's bag. Thanks, Ipsy! <3

This is another goodie I got from the swap from Hiiyooitscat. This one is more of a duo chrome type finish. It looks slightly black, but depending on the angle you can see a green tint to it.
