I received my August LootCrate box today and my boyfriend went nuts over it. LootCrate is a monthly subscription box for geeks/gamers. Each month has a different theme, this month's theme was HEROS.

My LootCrate came in the mail today, the theme this month is Adventure. That sparks Minecraft and Zelda to my mind, and surprisingly I was right!


1) Zen Monkey Studios - Zelda TShirt
Loved this, boyfriend took it as soon as he saw it. I'll take it back after he wears it once and forgets it ;)
2) Adventure Time Tins - Blind Box - Some dude with a beard
No clue what this is but the tin is super cute. I'm already stashing some of my stuff on my desk in it.
3) Minecraft Hanger - Blind Box - Skeleton
Boyfriend claimed this one too haha He likes Minecraft and loves keychains
4) Stickers
I don't want stickers
5) More Stickers
I really don't want stickers!!! Unless they're of TRex or unicorns with glitter and wigs...
6) Temporary Tattoos
Maybe I'll do this to boyfriend's forehead when he's asleep one night... Hmm...
7) The Friend Zone Soundtrack
No clue what this is.
8) Loot Crate Labs - Zelda Bottle Cap Opener
Boyfriend claimed this. I don't really drink so I won't use it, but it is cute!

I just got my April 2014 LootCrate in the mail and decided to actually post it this month. The past month or two haven't been my favorites and I was considering cancelling. While this month isn't amazing, it's better than the previous one.


What I received:
1) Symbiote Studios & Bethesda - Elder Scrolls Online Exclusive Figure
 - I'll be honest, I have no clue what this thing is.
2) Funko & HBO - Game of Thrones Mystery Mini
 - I haven't watched Game of Thrones yet, but have heard great things about it.
3) Harcos Labs & Loot Crate Labs - Dragon Jerky
 - Uhhh this is tinged green, it's beef jerky. My boyfriend will love this.
4) Loot Crate Labs - Dragon Shield Screen Cleaner
 - I like this! I'll put it on my phone.
5) Loot Crate Labs - 20 Sided Stress Dice
 - Boyfriend will snag this and put it at his desk at work as soon as he sees it.
6) Loot Crate Labs - 20 Sided Polyhedral Dice
 - Boyfriend will snag this as well for when he plays that one game. With the cards. What's it called? *confused*
7) Loot Crate Labs - Dragon Slayer Tag
 - I like jewelry haha so this is awesome to me.

I was super excited yesterday when I checked the mail and saw my Loot Crate box! This month's theme is CELEBRATE.


1) Comedy Central & Beatz Buddiez - South Park Rechargeable Mobile Speaker - Kenny
I think my boyfriend will enjoy this and will probably use it for his iPad or iPhone.

2) DC Comics & Dynomighty - Batman Tyvek Mighty Wallet
Loving this wallet!!! I'm a fan of Batman, so this is going to be used immediately.

3) Bicycle - Premium Playing Cards
Ehhh, these are okay, I can't remember the last time I played a game with cards.

4) General Mills - BFAST Breakfast Shake - Berry
Boyfriend took this from me the second I opened the box, which is why it isn't pictured.

5) Loot Crate Labs - First Person Shooter Glass
I think this is quite clever. Shot... Glass. :)

6) Loot Crate Labs - Doctor Balloon
While I am a huge fan of Dr. Who, I'm not so into the little stickers or balloons that I won't be using.

7) Loot Crate Labs - Police Box Wall Graphic
Also not pictured, but I'm not a fan of the stickers and such.

The theme this month was Survive (ie: Zombies). I love everything in the box this month!! Anyway onto the goodies.

1. Ewoking Dead T-Shirt by GraphicLab: Super cute, I'm surprised my boyfriend hasn't taken this yet but I'm sure he will soon.

2. The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks: I already own this book, but I'm sure I'll be gifting this copy to a friend sooner or later.

3. Outbreak Status Temporary Tattoo: There is actually a contest through LootCrate where you take a picture with either the Infected or the Safe tattoo on and the winner will get a 3 month extension (for free) of their LootCrate subscription.

4. Zombie Hunter ID by Loot Crate Labs: This is a cute little extra.

5. Love Your Guts Card by OpenMe: This is freaking adorable. The outside of the card stays "I LOVE your guts!". The inside says "Your brains are nice too!"

6. 8-Bit Zombie Buttons by Loot Crate Labs: I actually really like these. I'm rocking a skelanimal purse right now, so I'll be tossing one or two of these on it in the very near future.

7. Creepy Candy by Candy Warehouse: I got the gummy eye ball. It's a nice little Halloween treat for this months box.

8. There was also a $5 off coupon code for a purchase of $15 or more at GraphicLab

All in all I really enjoyed this month's box. The subscription is $13.37 a month and $6 for shipping/handling, so total $19.37. Do I feel that the subscription is worth it? Yes, almost all of the boxes I've received from LootCrate have been worthwhile and I enjoy them. The ones that are misses are okay, but the products get used. The value of everything in the box each month is over what I paid, so I feel it's a decent subscription service.

I got my August Loot Crate in the mail today! I'm super excited, the theme this month was Cake. Which of course means Portal. If you're not aware, I'm a huge fan of Portal, and the song gets stuck in my head quite frequently. Not sure what song I mean, here you go!
Anyway on to what I received in my box this month.

I've been subscribed to Loot Crate for 3 months now and love it! Loot Crate is a geek/gamer subscription box that costs $13.37 a month, plus (around) $6 for shipping. My boyfriend who never understood why I subscribe to make up boxes absolutely loves this box. He always asks me when it will ship (around the 20th every month).

This month the theme was Equip. Please note the theme changes monthly.
