True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Little Saint
$9.99
The palette is pretty and the texture is slightly rubbery. It closes securely so you could toss this in your purse easily.
Pretty good sized mirror on the quad.
The shadows are buttery smooth, though I did notice it clumps a little bit when I swatched. Also the dark shades on the right were hard to remove. It sort of stained my arm until I used a make up remover wipe.
True Romance Eyeshadow - Fever Ray
$6.99
I like the packaging on this one better than the quad above. I like being able to see the colors in the palette without opening.
Love these shades!!
Again, the formula was buttery smooth and the dark color was had to remove / stained my hand until I used a make up remover wipe. Middle shade is matte, the others are satin finish.
Foiled Love Liquid Lipstick - Adora
$6.99
I like that you can see the color of the product in the tube. My dislike is the bottom of it is domed, so you can't sit it upright...
I love this color!!! It does have a slightly metallic type finish, but it dries and doesn't transfer just like the Lime Crime Velvetines. I'm in love with whatever this formula is and highly suggest you try these out since they're $6.99 if you can find them.

Picture time!
This is the box I received in the mail. It's quite small, it fit in my apartment mail box. It had two plastic things that secured it from opening but I removed those to take the picture.
Inside the box
Card that includes nutritional information and ingredients. This is a major plus in my book, I'm trying to eat healthier and I'm allergic to pineapple so I had to check everything lol
First one I opened was Hot Cross Yum. It was so delicious! The raisins tasted of orange, the little cookies ("sponge pieces") were like mini vanilla wafers, and the best part was the cinnamon and honey almonds.
I would completely recommend this subscription, if you're looking to branch out on snacks this would be a good fit for you.

BzzAgent Review - Secret Outlast Completely Clean Clear Gel
Woo Hoo is right. My latest campaign goodness is from BzzAgent, Secret Outlast Completely Clean Clear Gel.
I've wanted to try a clear gel because, well...clear, but because my armpits are very sensitive, I wasn't willing to spend money on it. So when I was invited to this campaign, I jumped at the chance at getting a free stick of Secret--a brand I already use. Even at the risk of rash.
Here's what was in the box:
And the product, a full-size stick:
I tried this for a full week and then off and on here and there. I didn't have any rash flare ups, which is great. This product kept me dry and smelling great.
I didn't notice any marks on my clothing the first few times, but I wanted to really put it to the test before I blogged about it. So I grabbed my darkest tank top, turned the gel stick three times and applied it. I waited until it dried and then put on the tank top. I wore it for an hour, pulled it off and voila, below is the result.
So, even invisible gel does leave behind white on pure black (but none on dark gray).
If you're looking for absolute clean, keep looking!

Fekkai Influenster Box
I got into the Fekkai Influenster Box, here's what was inside:
- Fekkai PrX Reparatives Shampoo Sample
- Fekkai PrX Reparatives Conditioner Sample
- Fekkai PrX Reparatives Intense Fortifying Masque - Travel Size ($8)
First off, this stuff smells amazing, AMAZING. The scent reminds me of Bath & Body Works' Warm Vanilla Sugar lotion, except for hair. I literally oooooh'd when I tore open the packet. The shampoo has the most fragrance but all of the products had the vanilla scent.
Cleansing wise, this does as well as all of the other shampoos I've tried. I don't really notice the products doing anything extraordinary in terms of conditioning my hair, even the Intense Fortifying Masque. But no conditioners really do much for my super fine and slightly wavy hair. Since I have to flat iron my hair every day, that's probably to be expected.
Conclusion: If you buy hair products based on scent, buy this right now.

bhCosmetics - Special Occasion palette
HauteLook had bh cosmetics on sale a few weeks ago. I needed a little bit more product in order to get free shipping, so I grabbed this Special Occasion palette for $12.
N@N HUGE Julep Giveaway - All Full-Sized - Worth $272!
Enter to win this SWEET $272 prize pack!
US ONLY!
I'm cleaning out my polish drawer and setting aside colors I have multiples of or weren't for me.
These polishes have either never been used or have been used once to swatch for the blog. Primer & lip gloss have never been used. See below for exact colors!
Julep - October Box
This month I personalized my box and got the following for $24.99:
- Julep Nail Color - Nancy (left)
- Julep Nail Color - Ledi (right)
- Night Shift Sleeping Mask
Here's a swatch of Ledi:
Here's a swatch of Nancy:
I haven't had a chance to try the mask yet. Ledi looked pretty much like black with perhaps a latex-like effect. Since I already have a black latex that looks much better than this, Ledi isn't interesting enough to keep. It will go in an upcoming giveaway. I haven't made up my mind about Nancy yet. I think I already have a sage metallic. We'll see...
I haven't been loving the color options with Julep for a long time, and have been leaning toward the makeup products instead of polishes. Then the makeup products end up sitting on my table unopened, or used once because they can't displace the other products I've come to love. I'll likely use up my next box credit (I had to prepay for three months of personalized boxes), and then cancel.
Are you a Julep subscriber? How have you been liking your boxes?

Based on a YouTube video I watched a few weeks ago, I decided to try out a new subscription service: Boxycharm. This one is for $21 a month. That's a bit higher than the Ipsy I'm used to, but I was willing to try it at least once.
I signed up on 9/4, as of the 21st I hadn't heard anything and my order was still listened as "Paid". I went ahead and emailed their customer service because the site said the boxes would ship between 5 to 10 business days after paying. The 21st was definitely after 10 business days.
They replied on the 23rd saying they'd mail me a new box and to keep the original box if it arrived. That sounded like a great deal and stellar customer service. I was pleased. On the 25th I received tracking, and the box arrived on the 29th.
I was so excited!
Here's the unboxing of it:
The box is so flattering!
There's not a lot of breathing room in there. Efficient or...?
Here's a full-sized Essie bottle for size comparison.
Here are the products inside (still in the boxes):
I did what I always do, I pulled the products out of their boxes so I could get a photo with them all lined up, unboxed, unboxed.
The spritz perfume had leaked a bit in its plastic bag, but it wasn't too bad. I wiped it down inside and out.
But uuuuhhh oh, this doesn't look good:
As I feared, one of the shadows cracked. Actually three of them cracked (three on the top row, starting from the right).
I prevailed though and got the shot! Unfortunately some of the cracked pigment is still overflowing on the bottom.
Here's the list of what was inside:
- tarte LipSurgen lip gloss - "exposed" - $19
- Coastal Scents Go Palette - Beijing - $12.95
- NCLA Nail Lacquer - "Model Behavior" - $16
- Tarina Tarantino - Fleur de Lash Mascara - Limited Edition - $19
- Hello by Harvey Prince spritz - $29
I haven't decided if I'm going to contact customer service about the cracked shadows or not. The other products look like they're going to be good, and they're all full-sized. The box is a good value, but the cracked shadows worry me. I don't want all that pigment floating around in my purse.
Regardless of how it turns out, I'll try another month.
